This page is about who I am, how you can contact me, know or participate in my research and more.
Hello there!
People's stories have always intrigued me: what makes us tick, what gives our lives meaning, what changes us and what stops us from changing. It's why I became curious about Psychology. As I grew up, I started realizing how our experiences both shaped us and hurt us and how isolating it could be. That's why I became a counselling psychologist, so people would feel a little less alone. Along the way, my personal experiences and the ones of those who share with me in the therapy room showed me that a big part of the answer to whatever we are going through is our relationship with our own selves. That's why I study self-compassion.

Within each of us is a dynamic universe waiting to explore itself.
This page is dedicated to that inward journey. Happy exploring!
Warmly,
Debanjali
